two types of dips- for triceps and for chest, esp outer asnd lower portions
      of the chest.
The difference?whene you do chest dips you have to lean forward, if you
stand upright youre hitting the triceps more.

as long as your muscle is being broken down, it will grow if lifting
properly. you think muscles know the difference when your benching with a
barbell or dumbells? no it is breaking down ether way

      Reply
    • Ioannis Duff October 25, 2016 at 11:39 pm

+ClearVisionMuzik After a bit of research turns out that you are a little
confused on this. You have mixed up the bro science myth of muscle
confusion and the fact of the adaptation of the human body. The myth is
that you have to change up your workouts every time even a little to shock
your muscles into growing. That’s stupid because muscles indeed have no
idea what you are lifting – they only understand intensity and time under
tension. However, our bodies learn to adapt in longer periods of time and
become more efficient in performing the same movements over and over. This
efficiency is key to our survival as a species but bad for our gains
because it decreases the intensity and destroys less muscle fibers and thus
leads to stagnation. So the difference between the myth and the fact is the
time period. Myth is in every session or anything under than 2-5 months.
Edit: Also rewatched that part and you are right, dude’s talking about
      muscle confusion indeed smh

Size is not a direct representation of strength. I’m stronger than many
guys bigger than me, and there are guys smaller than me that can lift more.
Powerlifting and Bodybuilding are two different types of training. Can you
do both? Yes. However, the main point is-if someone has more muscle, it
doesn’t necessarily mean they are stronger.

Dumbell fly’s are gambling with your body. Many professional athletes and
novice bodybuilders have torn a peck or tendon while doing fly’s. Even
Arnold tore a peck doing this exercise. There are much safer and better
    ways of burning the chest!

Thats 100% not true. I’ve been in and around a lot of competitions. It’s a

      TheBoomBleach for 2 reasons
1st: its a fact that in order to build muscle you have to get stronger
      (lift heavier and heavier weight)
you can’t progress that much on chest flyes, you can se he’s using 40lb
      dumbells
2st: he is an advanced lifter so he has to do a lot of pump training and a
lot more volume in order to progress so his rules don’t apply to beginners

    • TheBoomBleach November 24, 2016 at 9:58 am

TheBoomBleach Yeah he wanted to show something different I guess. But I

On another note man would you tell me which is better a fbw or split
training.. Id like to train about 5 times a week and i do some running as i
play soccer aswell but i eat a lot too

      Reply
    • RDT Original November 24, 2016 at 10:32 am

TheBoomBleach Definitely split training. Getting stronger should be your
primary goal. And since you play soccer I would suggest working out fewer
times a week. I work out 3 times per week and it sounds crazy but I have
much better results than other that train more often. Try something like
      this:
      Monday Chest & Triceps
      Wednesday Back & Biceps
      Friday Shoulders & Legs
about 3 excersises per muscle group

      Reply
  • therambow623 November 25, 2016 at 7:38 am

He stretches the tendon too much. And chest flyes aren’t supposed to be
stretching exercise it’s all about the squeeze. Stretching exercises are
    all pressing exercises.

    Reply
    • Matthew Schmidt November 28, 2016 at 6:27 pm

The tendon isn’t whats stretching more, it’s the muscle.
